Cooking gas is a type of fuel used mainly for preparing food. The most common form is Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), which is a mixture of gases—primarily propane and butane—that are stored under pressure in cylinders.
🔥 What cooking gas is like
It is colorless and odorless, but a strong smell is added artificially so leaks can be detected easily.
Stored in pressurized cylinders or tanks.
Turns into gas when released, making it easy to burn.
🍳 How it works
When you open the gas valve:
The liquid LPG inside the cylinder turns into gas.
It flows through a regulator and pipe to the stove.
When ignited, it burns with a clean blue flame, producing heat for cooking.

Check for leaks (you can use soapy water to see bubbles)
Turn off the gas after use
